Canada Greener Homes Grant
The Canadian initiative for greener homes allows you, among other things, to obtain up to $5,000 in grants to cover part of the costs of your eligible home renovations and up to $600 to cover the costs of your EnerGuide Evaluation before and after renovation. In addition, you can receive up to $40,000 in an interest-free loan.

What are the eligibility criteria for the grant?
› This must be your principal residence, and you must own it.
› You must have an EnerGuide Evaluation performed before and after replacing your doors and windows.

The Canadian Doors and Windows Grant
› A minimum amount of $125, up to a maximum of $250*** will be granted per window (rough opening), as well as $125 per door, up to a maximum of $5,000.
*** For EnergyStar certified windows, according to their degree of energy efficiency. (Our advisors can explain the differences to you).

› Reimbursement for the cost of the EnerGuide Evaluation before and after replacing your doors and windows, up to $600 $.

In Quebec, registering with Rénoclimat is the only way to access the Canada Grant for Greener Homes.

Canada Greener Homes Loan
› An interest-free loan for a minimum amount of $5,000 and a maximum of $40,000, repayable over 10 years, to help you undertake major home renovations.

› Only renovations that qualify for the grant are eligible for the loan. The eligible cost of the renovations less the eligible grant must be at least $5,000.
